Beginner Obedience& Manners

This group class is for dogs who have little to no training experience, and who are people and dog friendly. The focus of this class is building a foundation in obedience, continued socialization and manners, while having fun.

Age: 6 months & up

Class size: 4 dogs max

Class length: 60 minutes once per week for 8 weeks

Skills we teach: clicker training, sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, watch me, place, leave-it, name recognition. Address problem behaviors such as mouthing, jumping, over excitement when greeting people.

PLEASE NOTE: This class is not appropriate for leash reactive or aggressive dogs

*All dogs must be up to date on required vaccines per a veterinarian. We require Rabies and DHPP or DHLPP.

Bordetella is not required, but we highly recommend it.

* All courses require pre-registration. Payments to Focus Forward Dog Training are non-refundable. Focus Forward Dog Training closes classes to further registration after 4 dogs enroll.
